This FUNdraiser is different than ANYTHING you have ever seen. You, the teacher, will
do nothing but have fun...with your students, in your class and with the Fun Run team.
At the teacher party the Boosterthon folks will explain the simplicity of this very cool
event on your part. You will be given everything you need from them, and, what's more
- TEN PERCENT OF THE PLEDGE MONIES RECEIVED WILL GO DIRECTLY TO
YOUR CLASS!! (these monies are from the PTO's portion)

The 411 basics....
The Boosterthon team will kick off a highly energetic pep rally for the students and teachers - a.k.a.
"coaches". The students will be given a DVD to take home for parents to view. They will begin to take
pledges for how many laps they will run at the Fun Run...which will be the Grand Finale of this event.
In the meantime, the Boosterthon team will administer "Team Days". Each day for five days a
Boosterthon member will enter your classroom...after knocking and only with your approval...for a
In addition, the Boosterthon member will have all of the current pledge information prior to entering
your classroom. He will make note of that and give prizes accordingly, as well as teach the daily
Character Trait. This will continue until the day of the Fun Run.
